The afterschool, Saturday and holiday club provision provides young people with complex needs, who require one to one support, opportunities to learn, work and play with others, in an atmosphere of mutual care and respect. The service recognizes that all people are equal and believes that each individual is capable of making valued contributions and expressing their full potential with the right help and support.
The staff at Full of life are committed to providing support tailored to meet the individual’s needs and choices. This is achieved by ensuring that our service user’s voices are heard and where necessary a range of augamentive methods are made available. We also work in constant partnership with parents, schools, colleges and other services. We endeavor to promote independence and are dedicated in enabling our young people to develop life skills and build confidence, at their own pace, in a fun and safe environment.
Our on- site group activities include: music and drama sessions, cooking, arts and crafts, sports, sensory sessions and gardening. However our one to one provision offers an array of individualized opportunities. All trips are planned with the service user’s choices in mind. Recently these have included Chessington World of Adventures, farms, parks, cinemas, bowling, safari parks, shopping, restaurants and cafes and popular tourist attractions.
