A HUGE Thank You from Full of Life

This years end of summer performance of Grease took place this year at the Chelsea Theatre, Kings Road.  The show was written and directed by James Rigby, music by Gabriel Krchnavek and performed by the cast of  Full of Life who are our fabulous young people and staff team! The show was a roaring success with everyone and had true audience participation!  Everyone’s hard work throughout the summer,  learning lines, dances and music definitely paid off!

We were so lucky to have such fantastic prizes to raffle and all funds raised on the day £800!! will be used in the development of our social enterprise for young people with complex needs. A huge thank you to Duffy for her donation of two tickets to Santana at the O2, Paul Nicholas and David Ian Associates Ltd for their donation of two tickets to Grease in the West End,  Wendy Tobi for  dinner/lunch for two at Sale e Pepe, Lords Cricket Ground for dinner and tickets for two top cricket matches, Lee and John Alkin for their wonderful Chilliqueen products, and the Anonymous donor for their wonderful bottle of Champagne!       

We would like to thank the following people for their precious time and support,  Debbie and Kerry Wratten who gave their time freely and designed our wonderful Grease Lightning Car, Fabulous Engine and other props to make the show such a success.  Jim Harris for his wonderful filming skills,  all young people and staff will receive a copy today.  Patricia Rigby for not only sourcing our Pink Ladies Jackets but for ensuring that our production had the good wishes and support of FAB Celebrities as well as most of the West End Musicals!  Adrian Graham for his great musical skills on the day!  Paul from Portobello Market who never forgets us and regularly donates costumes to Full of Life, Our expert fundraiser  Mrs Beddoe who started the fundraising rolling! And our two main Bus Drivers from Westway Community Transport,  Tony and Harold for listening to Grease on the buses throughout the summer and for going that extra mile!    

Last but absolutely not least a HUGE thank you to all of our brilliant young people and staff team who worked so hard to put on a truly inspiring performance, that left us all laughing and crying at the same time!  We will soon have photographs on the website so keep watching….Can’t wait for next years!
